In October, we were thrilled to attend a concert where Carroll McGruder and Priscilla McGruder received Lifetime Achievement Awards individually at the UPCI General Conference in Greensboro, NC. The awards were presented by the Pentecostal Music Association. They both expressed their appreciation for this honor and gave thanks to God for their lives and their talent. Priscilla McGruder, who still has not sung for months after being diagnosed with bone cancer, was humbled and gracious as she received her award. She looked great during this Conference and repeatedly thanked God for her strength. Carroll expressed his appreciation to all those who were involved in the McGruder’s career from the very beginning. Specifically, Kevin McManus, Chris White and Sonlight Records.
