Everett Label: 3ABN Music Website: http://www.3ABN.org The Three Angels Broadcasting Network has put together a beautiful Christmas project featuring one of Gospel Music’s great voices, Mark Trammell. 3ABN is based in Marion, IL. This project contains some great traditional Christmas music that the family will enjoy. Mark starts out the project with “There’s a Song in the Air Medley” which contains the songs “There’s a Song in the Air”, “Away In the Manger” and “What Child Is This”. This is a very moving medley. “I Wonder as I Wander” is one of the prettiest melodies among all Christmas music. Mark sings this one very well. “Go tell it On the Mountain” picks the tempo up with a bouncy rendition that gets the foot tapping. I’m sure that the next song would voice the hopes that all Christians would have for this holiday season. “Let There Be Peace on Earth” has a beautiful melody and lays perfect for Mark’s crooning delivery. “Angels from the Realms of Glory” is a great anthem of the Church and Mark Trammell delivers a powerful version of this old song, showcasing his range. “Oh Come, Oh Come Emmanuel” has a haunting melody and Mark sings this song with the proper dynamics to make this a powerful performance. “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear Medley” features “Silent Night” and “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear”. Mark starts the song with a recited version of the first verse of “Silent Night and then goes into the other song. “Come Thou Long Expected Jesus” is another classic anthem and picks the tempo up. “Do You Hear What I Hear” has long been a favorite Christmas song among all age groups. There have been many great singers record this through the years, including Andy Williams and Bing Crosby. Mark doesn’t take a back seat to any of them. They have chosen a great song to close the project with. This tune is not really known as a Christmas song but it ties the project together very well. “Tell Me the Story of Jesus” should be the desire of all Christians across denominational barriers. This song has a strong country beat, complete with fiddles and mandolins. This project is a must if you enjoy traditional sacred Christmas music. E. T. Everett and Mark Trammell have joined together to create a memorable Christmas project that Southern Gospel Music lovers will want to hear for years to come.
