Who is David Bruce Murray?

I am just a fan of Southern Gospel Music...possibly a fan very much like you.

I got started writing CD reviews a number of years ago for a website called Musicforce.com. They were owned by a company called Gaylord, which also owned Opryland and Word Music at that time. Eventually Musicforce.com was bought by Christian Book Distributors, who eventually phased out paid reviews...I guess music reviews weren't generating much revenue. Around that time, I began focusing almost exclusively on Southern Gospel Music and became a contributing writer for Sogospelnews.com.

In 2004, I began blogging at THIS LINK about my various interests, including CD Reviews and opinion articles. My interests in Southern Gospel eventually led me to write a book on the history of the genre, which I self-published in 2005.
