The Passion of the Christ and Rick Hendrix Reach Agreement
When Mel Gibson sat down to compile an album of songs to compliment his work on "The Passion of the Christ" he worked with his friends to develop tracks that would move people and keep them thinking. Rick Hendrix Company of Nashville, TN has been hired to market the project to radio. Universal-South will be releasing the project April 6th to retail. "We feel this project, will continue people's thoughts on the film. I am excited to see the reaction to some of the tunes. They have a spiritual and a dark side, kind of like the film. But, the darkness doesn't last long when you know what He did it for," stated Rick Hendrix of the Rick Hendrix Company. "We have an interactive web site on our page. You can click on The Passion logo and it will take you to an area where you can watch clips, hear songs from the upcoming album, and send Passion e-cards to family," Hendrix added. The first song will be available to radio within the week. We chose "Please Carry Me Home" by Jessi Colter and Shooter Jennings.
