50 years! A lifetime of traveling and singing for this Southern/Country Gospel artist and songwriter, Carolyn Melissa Connor.

The Connors are working on a new project in which Carolyn has been blessed to write several new songs. Carolyn has written over three hundred songs to date with about seventy of them published through Chestnut Mound Music. John Darin Rowsey of Karen Peck and New River is helping with arrangements and producing this recording. John has helped with song arrangements on the Connors last two projects and Carolyn appreciates his guidance and the work he does. This project will be Carolyn's thirtieth recording. She has also recorded many accompaniments on other various projects. Recording these thirty projects over the last fifty years, Carolyn has had the privilege to work with some of the best musicians, singers, and producers in the business.

When one thinks of fifty years of gospel music, they typically think of the countless miles traveled, concerts, projects, songs, interviews, promotions, fans, and the millions of stories that are associated with each of them. For Carolyn it has been a lifetime of wonderful blessings and soul saving experiences that has sustained her with joy and dedication to continue singing for the Lord during her fifty-year journey. Carolyn concludes, "It is a thrill to travel with my family, but most of all, hearing someone was saved through our songs has made my journey worthwhile."
