Darin Kasterke Joins The Cerces

The Cerces, of Springfield, Mo, are pleased to announce that Darin Kasterke, also of Springfield, is joining their trio as lead singer. He replaces Terry Yarham, who has sung the lead part since October of 2002.

Terry came to us in early February with the news he would be leaving as of April 30th due to growing family needs. Terry and Lori's oldest son is 14, and their other two sons will be 12 and 13 by the time summer arrives-and they need their Dad on the weekends. Terry has done a wonderful job for the group and will be available to the group from time-to-time for fill-in and to cover illnesses, vacations, etc.

Agreement to join the group was reached with Darin the first week of March, and he has spent the last 2 months learning the repertoire and getting ready for the change. He is no stranger to Southern Gospel Music. He traveled nationally with Cam Floria's famous Continental Singers, from California, as well as having sung with several prominent local Missouri groups. His wife and 12 year old son will travel with the group, as their schedules allow.

Darin will begin his official duties on May 1st. Plans are to begin recording a new project with Darin within the next 30 days.
