Readers of the Singing News have selected The Dunaways group in the top five for Horizon Group of the year. The news was released Friday, May 14.

The past year has seen the group release its first project on the Family Music Group label, chart its first Top 40 song with “Beautiful Day,” and garner more than half a dozen other nominations from industry print and online media, including SoGospelNews.com and thesoutherngospel.com.

Les Butler, the Dunaways’ producer and president of Family Music Group, said, “This is exciting news for a very deserving group. The Dunaways have a true ministry, as anyone who has seen
them in person knows for sure, and it’s gratifying to know the fans recognize their talent and their zeal for the Gospel.”

The group’s new single, “I Still Trust You,” written by James L. McFall, is beginning its climb up the charts.
