Connie Toney, Mother of Toney Brothers Members, Passes Away

Connie Toney, wife of the late Bob Toney, and mother to current Toney Brothers members, Gary and Terry, passed away Friday, June 18, 2004. She recently underwent heart surgery and had been hospitalized with heart complications.

Condolences may be sent to
1370 Habersham Drive
Gallatin, Tennesee 37066.

Funeral arrangements will be handled by Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home, McKinney, Texas.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I know it must have been a great reunion when your mom joined your dad again. Your dad encouraged me when I started singing and was a true inspiration to me and many others. God Bless You both,

Just surfing for a while and saw where your mom just passed away. I have had a "revival" in past months, due in part because of Southern Gospel singing, new and old. Got to know your music by listening to various internet radio stations and I do pray for you all as you carry on God's message in song and word. Carry on in the grace and peace the Lord gives you in these coming days.

Earl and I are praying for you. Earl was sad to hear that your mother and father both passed away. We are praying for you and the group. We would like to see you sometime; it has been quite some time since Earl played with you. Hopefully one of these days our paths will cross again,
