Les Beasley In ICU
Les Beasley suffered a heart attack while on the road with the Florida Boys Wednesday evening. Clarke Beasley commented, "He knew he was in trouble so they stopped in Louisville and went immediately to the hospital." Les was immediately hospitalized and placed on a venilator at 100% capacity and placed in ICU. He has suffered a heart attack and has pneumonia, however today he down to breathing with the ventilator at 40%, which is good news. The doctors are waiting for the pneumonia to be under control and they will then do a heart catherization to determine the damage and treatment. Reader Comments

May the Lord touch and keep our dear brother at this critical time. He is never failing, and cares for our every need. May his family also be comforted during this ordeal.
God Bless, Marshal

Definitely will have Les on our prayer list - We just had a chance to be with them in service weekend before last at the Amy Roth Homecoming in Powder Springs, GA.
Les and all the guys looked really great! You just never know. But God is still in control!

It is easy to think of the great loss having Les in the hospital is to the Gospel quarets field. After all, he has been used of God to keep The Florida Boys one of best and best known group for 50 plus years. Many other famous quartets have come and gone during that time. But our prayers and support must be for Les and his family. How difficult this must be for them. I had a very difficult situation with my wife 14 months ago and God has made me more aware of the personal side of what it means when this kind of news breaks. We will continue to ask our listeners to pray for the Beasely family and their exteded family including the members of the quartet and the many people who appreciates their ministry.

What a blessing Les and the Florida Boys have been to my life. I loved to hear them sing and even bought their albums before I was saved. They have been faithful in spreading the gospel in song, the same gospel that brought me to the Lord. Thank you very much and be assured that we are praying for you all.

I remember as a young child in the early 60's my parents would tune into "Gospel Singing Jubilee"
every Sunday morning. We really enjoyed those years. I am now in my early 50's and really enjoy listening to gospel music. Several years ago I recoreded a two hour specila on the history of gospel music. I really like the segment about the "Florida Boys" and what they have meant to me over the years. I pray that God will give you a full recovery with your hear condition.
