Lamp Music Group of Whitesburg releases Christmas cd featuring over 460 children from the Whitesburg Elementary School in Whitesburg, GA.

The recording was recorded on location at the school by Lamp Music Remote Recording service.

Lamp President, Mike Pillow said, "Over the 18 year history of Lamp we have had great success with live-location recordings for audio and video. We have personally had live recordings all across the US as far away as Los Angeles, CA and Seattle, WA!." He continued, "However this location project was our closest one ever, less than 1 mile from our office!"

This charity project which features 15 classics by over 460 students of the Whitesburg school was co-ordinated and conceived by the Whitesburg Care Fund and second graders at the school. The concept was then presented to Lamp VP Rhonda Pillow then the project really began to take shape -"I was thrilled at the idea of a project that would really help needy families at this time of year. I talked to Mike and others on our staff and the response was overwhelming."

Whitesburg Pricipal Mrs. Davis also commented on the project, "When the project was released last week, we had already had over 300 advance orders. We hope to sell over a 1000 this season to benefit the Care fund. It is selling in over 40 retail outlets within our community . . . We are so greatful for the super staff at Lamp we couldn't have even dreamed of a project like this without their help"

The project was also featured on the cover of the area's largest newspaper,
The Times Georgian and also featured a cover story!
