Southern Spin Entertainment Reorganizes
Company celebrates 2nd year

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Southern Spin Entertainment, Southern Gospel’s leading publicity and marketing firm recently celebrated its second year of business. The firm has grown from seven clients in its first year to over 30 clients today.

“Words can not explain how fast this company has grown in two short years,” recalled Amy Marie Unthank. “We’ve seen clients come and go, but we know that it’s all been to the benefit of this company. God’s brought the right people to this company, and for that, we can’t be more grateful.”

Upon the beginning of its third year in existence, Southern Spin Entertainment is also announcing the reorganization of the company.

“There is just so much now that we feel we can offer,” recalled Unthank, “especially now that we’ve gained so much valuable experience as our own company. We’re excited about what the future holds for this company and now its many divisions.”

Southern Spin Entertainment will now fall under a main conglomerate to be called SSE Group. SSE Group will now have four main divisions: Southern Spin Entertainment, SSE Design Group, Southern Spin Artist Direction, and Southern Spin Radio.

Southern Spin Entertainment will continue to be the publicity and marketing firm which helped establish the company. All artists signed to Southern Spin Entertainment remain under that company. This division does minor publicity and designs and organizes press kits for clients.

SSE Design Group is the division that does web publishing and internet promotions. The separation of the publicity and web publishing was to attract clients outside of the Southern Gospel genre. Glorious Creations, the web design company that Southern Spin Entertainment acquired last year will also fall under this umbrella.

Southern Spin Artist Direction is a new management and consultation branch. Details about Southern Spin Artist Direction will be forthcoming.

Southern Spin Radio has just recently been launched. Southern Spin Radio is an online radio station dedicated having a strong mix of progressive, traditional, country, bluegrass, and inspirational based Southern Gospel songs in rotation.

Southern Spin Radio went live Sunday afternoon. The station includes a programming committee which decides additions to the play list. Current members of the Advisory Committee include critics, industry veterans, artists, and fans.

“We’ve been planning this radio station for a long time,” said Amy Marie Unthank. “The station has been in the works for a while now. We’re excited to finally get it off the ground.”

Southern Spin Radio has its own main site, as well as eventually having a portal to hear the station from SouthernGospelNews.com.
