Whitessburg, GA: Ricky atkinson recently completed tracks for the anticipated new project for his extremely popular trio, Ricky Atkinson & Compassion.

On the heels of 3 Singing News top 10 singles, from their highly acclaimed Gospel Heritage Recording, "Betterland," comes this exciting new collection of originals from the hand of group leader, Ricky Atkinson.

"This is one of the boldest collections of songs, for one of our projects yet," said Ricky Atkinson, "I have always poured my heart into these recordings, it'll be exciting to share what God has been doing through our ministry!"

Mike Pillow, Lamp President also recently weighed in on the new project, "God has really blessed our relationship with this group since their inception in 1999. . . We have always had overwhelming response to Ricky's material. It is so wonderful and rewarding to know that our hard work and labors together in the studio have touched so many people for the Lord."

Street date expectations are currently being planned for early spring.

Ricky Atkinson & Compassion's current single, the upbeat, "If The Church Don't Rise" is also proving to be very popular as it works its way up the top 40.
