Ken Dutter of Kalispell, Montana, a long-time promoter of Southern Gospel concerts in the Flathead Valley, died Saturday afternoon (Jan 29) after suffering a heart attack at his home. He had been battling cancer. Ken and his wife Mary loved Southern Gospel music and promoted about six concerts each year. He enjoyed meeting singers and hosting groups. He and Mary attended the National Quartet Convention on several occasions, as well as taking singing cruises. This past fall he and Mary attended the Gaither Praise Gathering in Indiana. Ken also was the lead singer for his own group, the Mountain Heirs. Service arrangements are pending.
