What an amazing experience we had recently when The New Plainsmen and several of our friends and fans went on a 7-day cruise to the Caribbean. What was initially intended to be a time of fellowship and thanksgiving with a few folks (approximately 33 guests, and 11 NPQ family members) that have supported us through the years since we began as a group, turned into an all-out sing-fest to our guests & 300 plus people whom we had never met before! For 5 of the 7 days we were on board the “Rhapsody of the Seas” cruise ship, we were allowed to set up our equipment and had planned various activities for our special guests in one of the lounges that seats about 250. By the second mini concert, there were so many people packed into that lounge, that there wasn’t enough space to accommodate them. So the ship’s cruise & activities directors did some switching around and by the final full concert on Saturday, they had us in the largest lounge on the ship! All we could say was Praise the Lord! Did I mention that this was a secular cruise? Did I also mention that we were not part of the scheduled entertainment? That’s right folks! We went on this cruise planning to perform for the small group that came with us and asking the Lord to bless our efforts and man did He ever more bless us! Just goes to show you that when you think you can’t, God Can!

Boy, what an experience that I wish David and I could have experienced with you all. But, you know where I was at, cooking for everybody! I am so thankfull that everything went great. Can't wait to see you al soon in our area. I even have Methodist folks asking me when you are going to be back in our little town. God Bless you all. Thanks for all your prayers for my David. I can't wait to see you all and tell you about our new adventure. Just a note to say that we have opened up our home to others like David and it is called "Davids House"! Tell you the rest when I see you. Sissy

I 'think' I've heard the Plainsmen; if not in person, I have heard Of them. I think God did a Wonderful, Amazing thing to have all those people hear the Gospel through your singing praises to our Lord and Savior. May He continue to bless you all.
