NewDay Quartet Slated to Sing at Annual Elvis Presley Festival
On the first weekend in June, tens of thousands of folks from all around the world will converge on Tupelo, MS for the annual Elvis Presley Festival.
Tupelo being the birthplace of Elvis always rolls out the red carpet for some of the biggest names in entertainment. This years lineup includes icon Chuck Berry, country superstar Tracy Byrd, and the premier Elvis stylist, Travis LeDoyt. But what Elvis festival would be complete without gospel?
“This will be the third year that the gospel concert on Sunday afternoon will be a part of the festival. It is quickly becoming one of the absolute highlights of the festival,” says Jim High of the festival committee.
Always seeking to bring the best talent to the festival, “we are so proud to announce that NewDay Quartet along with Travis LeDoyt and a yet to be named mass choir will be showcasing the gospel concert this year.” “We are so honored to be a part of this great event,” say Micah Lambert of NewDay.
“Elvis gospel is some of the best loved gospel of all time. And this concert will have plenty to enjoy. We are just pumped about the opportunity to spread God’s word to people from all around the world.” Information on the festival can be found online at http://www.tupeloelvisfestival.com or http://www.newdayquartet.com . NewDay Quartet’s current single is “When Morning Sweeps The Eastern Sky” on the Airplay Promotions compilation. NewDay Quartet is represented by New City Talent of Millport, Al.
