OH come on- it looks like the Singing Byrds,Sounds of Victory and Shiloh pulled a fast one. None of these folks have any recognition or massive fans bases to even get close to this many nominations. Paul Bodens credibility is on the line with messes like this.

And what about Young Harmony, in the duet category. I heard that Johnathan is sending restaurant gift certificates to everyone who will vote for them. I'm just kidding. But I did want to let you know that I voted for Sounds of Victory in several categories for several reasons. One is I think they do a tremendous job and another reason is because they have their focus where it should be. Congratulations to all the groups that have been nominated, honestly, of course.

Wow, how does the US Gospel/SGM fan fair expect us to give their awards any credit when most of the names have NO national exposure. Am I to believe that David Phelps was the only full time person nominated for male vocalist?

They had a chance to bring a legitimate fan awards to Gospel music. with names on the list including Gaither Vocal Band/Signature Sound, they are including folks that seem to be left out of the Singing News. BUT come on, these other folks nominated may be great people, but seriously, those 3-4 no name groups getting nominated in every category? HOW???

this looks even fishier than the SN fan awards!
but I am glad to see GVB, SSQ, and the few other national artists recognized.

Thanks goodness we have SGN Awards and the Dove Awards. All the rest are hog wash. I think between Young Harmony voting for some of these fraudulent ballots and the box of papers these groups must have ordered to ballot themselves, we have a very interesting awrd show.No wonder the show is at midnight. The whole process is a dark one to me.hmmm

Wow, my name is Jessica Sisk and I personally nominated the Sounds of Victory for several of the positions on the ballot. I voted for them, and also encouraged a lot of my friends to go and vote for them, or whoever else they felt led to vote for. They are awesome ANNOINTED singers who live each day singing and telling people about the LOVE of Jesus Christ. I am assumming that the negative comments about the uprising artist where made by people that did vote...and you are aware as I am that your personal information could only be added once, or the ballot would be thrown out. But anyway...The word of God is Love...Jesus is Love..So therefore, I feel that the Will of God would be to LOVE. Not speak slanderous comments about other people that are living their lives for Jesus Christ. In 1 Chronicles 16:22 "Touch not mine anointed"

It seems to me like ya'll are getting upset about something really small.... This is the first year for this awards voting and hardly anyone knew anything about it. The likelyhood is that a few groups took advantage of that and ask their fans to vote for them. What is wrong with that? The SN has full page ads asking for peoples votes. In the first year of something that has not been well advertised, a very small number of concentrated votes can make a big difference. There are some great people that ARE nominated for each category, so vote for them and let people like David Phelps and Tim Duncan and many others like that get an award and next year nominate your favorites, and you don't have to be a subscriber to any magazine to vote online NOW.

I was glad to see Naomi and the Segos get nominated for some awards. I seen them at the Atlanta Gaither Homecoming and fell in Love with the New Group
