I have been looking forward to reviewing this project because I have been anticipating some great new songs from Sylvia Green. The Bradys have been putting out top notch material for several years now and their new project, Focused is no exception.

“Decided to Believe” gets the project off with a good up tempo track with a strong beat. “Church Hold On” is a nice ballad that features a good male vocal. “Stacking Stones” is a song written by the other female vocalist of the group, Kaila Martin. She also sings the solo on this Hinson style song.

“Devil on the Run” picks the tempo up and features Sylvia. “One Glimpse” is a very nice traditional Southern Gospel song written by Sylvia Green. This has a quartet feel to it. “Forever Is Not So Far Away” is the first country ballad on the project and was written by Alan Brady. This song has a style reminiscent of some of the Freeman’s big hits.

“Don’t Lay Down Your Armor” has a bluesy feel to it. The vocals on this one are strong. Kaila is featured again on the Country style song, “Might Go Home Today”. This song would make a good single for the group. Sylvia is featured on “Til the Mountain Is”, is a pretty ballad that she also penned.

“Don’t Look Back” features Alan Brady on a good mid tempo Country style song. Alan does some great singing throughout this project. Alan also wrote this song. They close the project out with “All Things”. This song features Keith Brady.

This project delivers a good variety of material. The Brady’s have a nice sound and are very versatile. I heard several songs that could do well for them on radio. Make sure you check this one out for yourself.

I have heard this cd and love it. The Bradys have a variety of styles for everyone. If you have not heard this group in person then you are missing out. They will bless you as well as entertain you. I love their new single "Might Go Home Today"! I have heard it several times on Solid Gospel.
