I do not know where or how I missed this CD for a while, but I'm glad I found it. I had been listening this CD for a while preparing to review it, when I had the good fortune of seeing CCC in person. Though the crowd was small, this young group of guys sang like there were five hundred people in the place.

No doubt from all his years with the Speer Family, Lead singer Eddy Bolton learned how to get the most harmony possible out of a group of guys singing, because their harmony is near perfect. To say that they are smooth would be an understatement.

Starting with the very first tune, “There's No Defeat,” you will be on the edge of your seat. You can't help but chuckle a little as they get a little lighthearted on “Walking On Coals.” I was just a little surprised to see that a friend of mine, Steven Phelps penned that song. “Give Me Just A Little Bit More” has a really interesting track with some pretty wild guitars, but it all fits together for another great song.

Tenor, Gus Gashes wrote and is featured on “Hand Of The Healer.” This is a beautiful ballad that gives great comfort to the families of those going through terrible times of sickness in their lives. “No Blues In Heaven,” written by Eddy Bolton, is a close harmony song that has a nice swing to it. You can just sit back, close your eyes and be blessed by listening to this song.

My favorite song on the CD though is another one written by Eddy Bolton. “You Had Your Hand On Me” is a beautiful ballad with the message that could possibly be the testimony of every person who has ever made the decision to walk this Christian way. You need to get this CD just for this song.

Crimson Gold had the opportunity to work with CCC at Silver Dollar City awhile back. They were wonderful guys to work with and do a tremendous job. I have this CD and listen to it often. Eddy Bolton is perhaps the most underrated lead singer in our business and Gus Gaches is a great tenor.

Good sounding group! I am basing my review solely on the clips online, but I think these guys are making a name for themselves on the charts also. The tenor singer is a great vocalist and the group members have also penned some great songs. I love "You Had Your Hand on Me!" So, what was your rating Deon? I missed it.

I love this CD,I have known Eddie Bolton since his days with his brother and mother as The Bolton Trio, and also his time with The Texans, when they were in Branson,MO. I have not gotten to hear CCC in cocert, yet, but I hope to have that opportunity in the near future.I don't know any of the other guys in the group personally but I love their harmonies and arrangements on this project,I love the song"Walking On Coals" it is very fun and different as are many of the songs on this project. No predictability here, first rate production all the way.

The vocal arrangements of C3 are awesome. They will bless you AND entertain you in concert. Louie Wilson, baritone, will have you laughing a lot with his antics. You are right, Gus is one of the best tenors out there. This is a first rate group all the way around. I've seen them in concert several times now. My only negative note is that the EQ on the bass singer's mic could be set better. (Sorry, Gus) Rod hits very low notes, but he sounds way too thin on the sound system. I love these guys and highly recommend you go see them when they're near you!

Eddie Bolton is currently (Oct. 2007) a member of the trio "Three Bridges", as their newest tenor singer. Check out their 2006 "Promises" CD, on which such famous personalities as fiddlist Charlie Daniels, country artist Ricky Skaggs, and Gospel singer/songwriter legend, Gloria Gaither, read a Scripture before each song that is based on that Scripture. The best cut is "In The Valley There's a Rock". Also check out their 2007 CD, "Breakin' Chains" and the cut, "Wait On That Mountain".
