All “In One Accord” Calvary’s Way starts off on the right foot with a great blend and immediately shows their vocal strengths. “I can Tell You He’s Coming” is up next with a harmonica and a slight country gospel feel. The music is really excellently done on this record! The title cut, “Just His Name” is the first ballad on the record and proves the group’s tight blend with some great unison parts. Steve, the group’s tenor really shines on this song, making the song one of my favorites on the record.

Calvary’s Way offers a nice rendition of the familiar tune, “I Remember the Time,” and then pulls off an even better version of “He Said.” Easily another of my favorites! “Fear Not” written by the group’s baritone Terry Sark is not only well written, but well sung. Things pick up with “Heavenly Flight,” a traditional quartet kind of song also written by Terry. “Touch me Lord” is another beautiful ballad with a great message. The vocal and lyrical quality is consistent throughout the entire record, which is quite an accomplishment in my book. “My Jesus, I love Thee” is a wise addition, and the record closes an upbeat number, “He’s so Good to Me” written by the brilliant Lari Goss.

This album made me smile. The song choices were great, the flow was just right, the vocals clean and expressive. Not quite as original at Three Bridges or as tight as the Booth Brothers, but never the less a solid project worth a listen or two or three.

Song List:
In One Accord
I Can Tell You He’s Coming
Just His Name
I Remember the Time
He Said
Fear Not
Heavenly Flight
Touch Me Lord
My Jesus, I Love Thee
He’s So Good to Me

Thanks so much for reviewing our "Just His Name" CD project. We have just released a new CD titled "Amazing Grace" which contains a colection of some of the most well known and loved hymns of the Church. We pray that the Lord will use this CD as much as He has our first two.
Thanks again and God Bless SGN.com,
Dave Martin
