With all the ingredients of an old-fashioned, Holy Ghost Campmeeting, these 2 videos are a must for any fan of the Crabb Family or just anyone who loves an old-fashioned campmeeting service.  Though these videos are sold separately, they were both recorded the same week during the Crabb Family’s Homecoming last year.

The first video, “Homecoming Live”, features musical highlights from the Crabb Family’s performances on Friday and Saturday night of their Homecoming in July 2002.  Throughout the whole video, the audience is with them every step of the way, showing immense enthusiasm for the group.  By all accounts, this was a Crabb Crowd, and they came to have church!

The songs included on this video are “JESUS IN A SONG”,”THE REASON THAT I’M STANDING” (they have church on this song!), “I’M RUNNIN’ ON”, “PLEASE COME DOWN TO ME”, “DON’T YOU WANNA GO”, “SOMETHING’S GOING ON IN THE GRAVEYARD”, “HE’LL MAKE A WAY”, “THE LAMB, THE LION AND THE KING”, “REDEEMED” (featuring Mike Bowling along with Aaron and Adam Crabb), “PLEASE FORGIVE ME” and a very emotional performance of “THROUGH THE FIRE.”

Also included are special moments during the concerts such as Adam sharing a heartfelt testimony, Gerald sharing a special memory he has of his dad, friends of the Crabb Family share how God brought them through the loss of their daughter, and Jason giving one of the most heartfelt and emotional invitations for lost to be saved, and using the classic, “HAD IT NOT BEEN” as an invitational.  All of these moments intertwined between the songs make this a wonderful concert video that keeps your attention and is highly enjoyable as well as spiritually uplifting.  Of course, there is nothing boring about a Crabb Family concert!

imageThe second video, “Campmeeting 2002”, contains a series of 2 sermons delivered by Gerald Crabb and one sermon given by Jason Crabb, who is definitely following his father’s footsteps.  With fire and conviction, Gerald and Jason give all they have in these 3 sermons…“THE ANCHOR OF HOPE”, “THE MIDNIGHT HOUR”, and “SATAN’S THREE MOST OFTEN USED LIES.”

It goes without saying; these videos are a must for any Crabb Family fan, or anyone who enjoys their Southern Gospel with little country flare and a campmeeting spirit.

The Homecoming Live 2002 video is one of the best ones that I've ever seen. You really get that feeling that you're right there when you watch it, and Jason's altar call at the end is the most heartfelt and sincere one I've witnessed in a long time. This video will no doubt change many lives. I recomend showing this to unsaved friends and family members, or even those Christian friends of your who need encouragement.
