I will admit, other than what I have learned from their website, I know virtually nothing about this group, but oh how they can sing!  This male quartet is worth your time to look into.  They have a very polished sound and at times they sound reminiscent to Gold City from the late 80s and early 90s.  I am sure the production expertise of former Gold City pianist/arranger Garry Jones has something to do with that.

SING OH SING” and “HE HAS SAID TO GO OVER” gets the recording started in a positive, upbeat manner and sets the tone for the whole recording.  The next song entitled “SOMEDAY” has all the makings of being a really big song.

WONDERFUL FEELLING” is a cool song and before the song is over, each guy is off doing his own thing.  The song is very reminiscent of the old convention songs that I am such a sucker for.

Though I would not have used the song as a bass feature on the verses, the guys pull it off pretty well on the former Greater Vision hit song “HE IS MINE”, which leads perfectly into the next song called, “VICTORY IS MINE.”

Impressive, is the best way to describe “NO TEARS MEDLEY.”  Done completely acapella, these guys really show off what they can do on this song and it leads into a very simple arrangement (piano accompaniment only) on the Cathedrals classic “I THIRST” and shows off some nice harmony.

One of my favorite songs on this recording is the highly encouraging “WALKING IN THE FLAME.”  It is so encouraging to know that just as the Son of God was in the flames with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, He also walks with us in the furnace of our lives.  Ending the recording is the anthem, “THIS IS MY STORY.”

There really isn’t any one vocalist that stands out.  They are all very good singers and blend exceptionally well together.  It is obvious the group’s sound is a collective effort and not one man stands apart from the rest.  This is a rare jewel and I highly recommend this recording for anyone who loves solid quartet music.

Personal Favs: SOMEDAY; WONDERFUL FEELING; VICTORY IS MINE;  NO TEARS MEDLEY; WALKING IN THE FLAME

This is one of the best sounding groups you'll ever hear, their smooth blend, great harmonies and their ability to write great songs are showcased in this wonderful recording. Do yourself a favor and go to their website and purchase a copy, you wont be disapointed.

I heard these guys several years ago when they won the Gold City homecoming talent contest. They blew me and the whole crowd away. I really can't believe we haven't heard more from them.
