This is one Christmas CD you are going to want in your collection, and you will hate to put it up until next year. In the typical form of a really nice Christmas CD, the song selection is a mix of fun familiar songs and some brand new, fresh sounding tunes. Much of the new music is written by well known SGM writers like Daryl Williams, Joel Lindsey, Sue Smith, Jerry Sally, Marty Funderburk, and Aaron Wilburn.

They need to get “A Quartet Christmas” to radio right away. It’s a fun song about what the title says, quartet singing at Christmastime. “Tonight” is a new song penned by Bill and Gloria Gaither and WOW is it different and really good. Lari Goss arranged a fantastic a capella version of “The First Noel” that these guys perform flawlessly. There are some fun secular songs about Santa and Frosty too, so everyone will enjoy this CD.

This CD is what a Christmas CD is supposed to be about. It’s light and cheery, but also has moments of true worship about the birth of our Savior. Make your Christmas a little cheerier and run out and grab this great project.

You are so right! This is one of the few Christmas CD's that I recommend to everyone who enjoys great music and perfect harmony.
I think my favorite song is the one written by Don and Harold Reid of the Statler Brothers, "Who Do You Think?"

I am a huge fan of signature sound.....I have been addicted to Ernie since the first time I heard him sing, 10 years ago!
This is a Fabulous CD!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was at praise gathering, and bought one for every member of my family! It's gonna be a Signature Sound Christmas at my house!!!!

Those who have assumed I hate Christmas music will be surprised by what I think of this CD, but those who have understood what I was saying all along should nod in agreement.

This is a 5 star Christmas CD. No doubt about it.

Signature Sound has covered a few tunes that have been recorded previously by other artists and also some classics, but there's a musical cohesiveness to the whole thing. In other words, they put their own "signature" on each song, whether it's standards like "The First Noel" and "Frosty The Snowman," or a new number like "Tonight."

The most derivitive number they do is "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," but they've slowed it down a bit and added a personalized narration near the end of the arrangement by Ernie.

Overall, the arrangements are superb with vocal performances to match. This is exactly what a Christmas CD should be, and as you can probably tell by now, it's my favorite Christmas release this year.

Excellent job SSQ! Folks, this will be one of your favorite Christmas CDs, if you are a southern gospel fan! Finish up your Christmas shopping with this CD. The combination of songs is perfect to get into the holiday spirit. And some of the songs will be my favorites all year long!

This is a great Christmas project & a welcome addition to my collection of Christmas music. SSQ does a superb job on each of these songs be they classics or brand new. GOod job, guys!

Ernie could easily give up sg and go exclusively christmas. This, by far, along with Ernie's solo christmas album, are among the best ever released in southern gospel music. Definately 5 stars.
