If you are one who likes variety, then you are sure to love this compilation of twenty different artists. Compiled mostly of Southern Gospel artists, there are a few other musical styles that make this CD unique and interesting. The material varies from fun songs like The Talleys singing “Sleigh Ride”, to standard Christmas Carols such as The Cathedrals singing “Silent Night”, Greater Vision singing “Joy To The World”. Janet Paschal has a Big Band sound as she sings “There’s Something Going On In Bethlehem”.

For real variety, you can listen to The Roger Helton Bluegrass Band playing “Go Tell It On The Mountain” or Raphael Helton and the Nashville Schola Cantorium playing “In The Bleak Of Midwinter”. Keeping the instrumental music playing you can hear Gerald Wolfe on the piano with the old Christmas Carol “The First Noel”. Sandra Payne adds a little bit of “soul” as she whales out “It Will Be Christmas”. Bringing back the Southern Gospel style, the Crabb Family does a great rendition on the beautiful ballad “Simeon.” You will hear a country sound with the New Hinsons as they perform “Mary’s Lamb”. There are plenty of other great tunes on this CD, so I feel confident in saying that you will get your money’s worth with this one.
