Gerald Crabb - Roads I’ve Traveled
All of the songs were penned by Gerald, and these may be some of the best songs that he has written. “Roads That I’ve Traveled” is the title cut to this CD, and it lives up to the expectations of a title song. This get-up-and-go song sets the pace for the whole CD. You will be clapping your hands along with this song before you know it. Current radio release “Hard Knocks” is probably the most country sound of the entire CD, while “It Aint New” with guests Michael English and Jason Crabb gets to grooving. “Was That Only Yesterday” is an emotional song from a father to his daughter. Have the hanky box close by. The twins, Adam and Aaron help their Dad out on the spirited number “Going On With Jesus”. This could be one of those shoutin’ songs. This is one CD that Crabb Family fans will have to add to their collection. Other songs include “I’ll Be Waiting For You”, “This Too shall Pass”, “You Wouldn’t Know Me Now” and his former number one hit “Through The Fire”. Reader Comments
This is a great project- Gerald is one of today's finest writers and vocalists, and I'm glad he got a chance to showcase his solo talents, but still have that "family" feel with the kids backing him up on a few songs.

Hey - are you sure this is Gerald's first solo project? For some reason I was thinking he had recorded one a long time ago. I could be wrong.

Great Project! But then what did you expect?
We love it! And we love Gerald and Kathy. Personal favorites are "It Ain't New" and "Was That Only Yesterday" and yes I needed a hanky!

Gerald recorded a custom album in 1987. It was a great album then. Anthony Burger played keyboards, Jordanaires sang on a couple of songs. It was on EGM records out of Westmoreland TN if memory serves me correctly. Anyway, Pam, you are correct!

This is not Gerald's 1st solo project. He has an older one that has the songs "Almost Time To Say Goodbye, Holy Potter, "God's Barrel Don't Run Dry", & more songs that I haven't heard!

Its hard to even think of any writer or family that has worked as hard and smart as the Crabb Family has. They were and still are one of the most professional and caring groups in any genre today.Anything Crabb on it-goes in my truck.
