The singing on this CD is much better than ordinary, and you will be blessed just listening to it. What makes this CD stand out from every other CD is the songwriting. Nine of the songs were penned by Group member Ben Scroggs, and the other two were written by Ben and group member Dustin Jackson. These are not just ordinary Gospel songs. Ben and Dustin have adapted their voices to a real Country sound that is very sellable and very believable. I really think that this CD can do very well on any Country venue and even "crossover" in to the Country field to reach an entirely new audience.

The track to the first song, "No Back Roads", lets you know that this listen will be heavy in the Country beat. I could almost hear the Crabb Family singing this tune. "The Devil's Kitchen", "John Deere And Jesus", and "Little Things" are the first of the songs that really present a Gospel message in modern vernacular. They give a great message in very modern language.

"What On Earth For" is a really nice ballad that would fit on any CD, and these guys do a great job on it. You will find yourself worshiping to this song. "The Road Song" has a little bit of that old 60s rock and roll beat to it. This is a real fun song that you will want to sing along to. Because of it's "singability" I think this would be a great radio song.

Every parent will relate to "Just Checking In". This is another song with a modern story that teaches a real life lesson. This is one of my favorites Showing a little versatility with a Bluegrass feel is "Sin Got Lost." "Use Us Lord" is another strong ballad that will make you stop and think about reaching others for the Lord.

Other really nice songs include ""He Lived To Tell It All", "My Faith Holds".

The only thing that bothered me about this CD is that a few of the tracks were a little hot, making it harder to hear the vocals. It's also very hard to get great harmony with a duet. Even with those two imperfections, the CD is still better than the average CD that you will pick up at most concerts. This CD is a great listen and will really appeal to the pop-country fans.

WOW! AWESOME PROJECT!!! Every type of music has its place in time. Some are before its time, this project is one of those. I have worked with these guys live in concert and heard the recording as well. It was received well in all venues with huge record sales after the dates I worked with them. A review is not always the best indicator of how well a project is appreciated and enjoyed by fans. Record sales show what people enjoy!! Ben and Dustin, Keep up the awesome work and winning people to Jesus through such a remarkable, overwhelming new project!!! Personally, I love it being the first of its style! You are certainly setting a trend and making a huge impact reguardless of a review rating.
