Produced by Bobby All and Terry Thompson
Recorded at Upfront Studios, Nashville , TN
Label – Independent

This CD is pure country in sound with solid, quality tracks and vocals. All of the songs are penned by Van and Kathryn Morris. Their style of writing reminds me a lot of the Hinson's songs. In fact, their sound is probably closer to the ORIGINAL Hinsons than any other description that I can think of.

As much attention should be paid to the quality of the song writing as the vocals. With the key word to describe this couple's song writing being diversification. With 15 songs on the CD, they did not get mired down in one mode of writing.

Some of the songs that I really liked are “Finish Line,” a motivating song to keep you headed to the end of the race. “It's Not Goodbye” is a tear jerker that gives real hope for those who have lost loved ones. “He Romanced The Stone” tells of how not even a stone cold heart can resist the romance and wooing of the Spirit of God.

Another great thing about this CD is that 50% of all the proceeds from the sales go to the Home of Joy Orphanage.

Delighted to see The Morris' Great CD being featured on SGN, I have been playing track 9
'You Can Always Trust His Heart' on my show 'Gospeltime' here on Downtown Radio, for several weeks now. This song speaks deeply into the heart and soul of those who are going through a trial or situation perhaps they do not understand. Given the exposure on Southern Gospel radio this song is a winner!
The Morris family are 'down to earth' friendly people with songs that minister to all, wherever they are at, Bless you guys Van, Kathryn and Kandice.

"It's Not Goodbye," was one of the top 3 most requested songs on the Solid Gospel Radio Network in 2004. By the way, the Morris' are GREAT people! Preachin, writin, singin...they got it all!

Blessings!

I have known Van, Kathryn and Kandi ever since they became Christians back in 1980. They are great friends and I am very proud of their accomplishments. I must say they give it their all.

Well guys what can I say--- when you've got it, you've got it. So proud of you. I truly enjoy each song that you right. It takes much talent, time and thought and you guys have all three. Keep up the good work. I pray that the Lord will continue to expand your ministries this coming year.

Love You Guys,

Lady Di

I first heard "Just Another Day on My Journey" on an internet station, right about the time this CD came out. I was blown away. I remember emailing the station to find out "who" this was so I could get the project. I never did get enough info. One day I heard them on the radio, in an interview of some sorts...might have been a Closer Look Segment, or Paul Heil's show. I still have their web address written on the top of my desk, since I couldn't find a sticky note in time. Either way, when "It's Not Goodbye" hit my local Solid Gospel Station, I was hooked. I met the Morris' at NQC and found them to be "the genuine article". Great songwriting, great variety, and a great message throughout this CD. Looking forward to more!
God Bless Yall!
