Urgent prayer needed for JC Wiley, lead guitarist for Full Life Trio. JC had a heart attack late last night and is in Critical Care Unit in the St. Joe, MO hospital. He will have triple bypass surgery this coming Friday (Nov. 28) so please keep him in your prayers.

Prayer For My Mother

I would like to request prayer for my Mother. She will be going into the hospital early tomorrow morning for the doctors to perform a catheterization to see if she has any blockages to the heart. She has been having some discomfort for about six weeks. If they see that it is needful, they might be putting in a stent and keeping her overnight. Please pray for the Lord to give wisdom to the doctors and guide them through this exploratory surgery and that all will go well with my Mother. Thank you so much in advance for your prayers! They are so very much appreciated!

Praise Report - The Power of a Song

Last week I had a friend going through quite a rough time emotionally with a follow-up medical test. I could tell she was pretty shook even though she had no reason to think the test results would turn out bad. I had talked with her some, and before she went to her appointment that morning, I gave her some scripture to meditate on along with my Booth Brothers’ CD “Room for More” to listen to. Later in the afternoon she returned to the doctor’s office for the results, and lo and behold the doctor told her that there was nothing to report except that her test results looked great! She came to me with the wonderful news and thanked me for the CD and said that one song in particular had really spoken to her and helped her through, while reminding her of a very important fact. That song was “What Salvation’s Done For Me”. This song had ministered to her that morning and spoke volumes to her heart. She wanted to keep my CD over the weekend to listen to it over and over again. Our God certainly works in wondrous ways!

So to all the wonderful Christian artists out there, keep bringing the music and the message of Christ to the world. You never know the power of one song and what it can mean to someone in their great time of need and how God will use that song. May God bless you all!

Prayer requests for my wife

I have some specific prayer requests for my wife
1)For her healing from an upper bronchial infection and strap throat
2)Her father passed away last night from a heart attack. We found out
early this morning
3) For her nephew that was in a car accident and for his speedy recovery
4) Her upcoming surgery this Friday to remove a severe case of
endometriosis

Regarding #4 - She and I have been trying for a child for a long time and after seeing a fertility specialist this was discovered. She hasn’t had any severe symptoms of it. For those of you who know about endometriosis it is a big hinderance to getting pregnant. I ask that you pray that GOD will give the doctor(s) a steady hand in the removal of the endometriosis and that my wife will become pregnant soon. GOD knows the desires of our heart!

All of this within a weeks time!

I got a Message this Morning that one of our Church Members had a Massive Stroke on Wed night he is in Intensive Care for the next 5 days he is an eldery gentlemen his name is Gerald Riggs they say he is going to have a tough road ahead of him Please Pray for him & his Family Thank you

I ask everyone to pray for my grandfather who has a serious case of pneumonia. My brother called me and said that the next 24 hours are critical as to whether or not he will make it. We all know that prayer is a powerful thing. He’s going to be 86 in December so this is very serious.

Our Youth Pastor is 25 years old. Approximately 5 weeks ago, he was diagnosed with colon cancer. He has an 18 month old son and was told he would only live 1-2 more years. 10 days ago, he needed to have a CT scan so they could “stage” his cancer. When his doctor received the results, he called the radiologist and told them that he was sent the wrong results. There was no sign of any cancer, anything unusual at all!! He is completely and totally healed!! The doctor says he has never seen anything like this in 35 years, and to keep doing whatever he (our Y.P.) is doing. Our Youth Pastor promptly told him “this is a miracle from God!! We prayed and God answered!!” Praise God for His healing touch!!

Heart Attack #2

Hey, I’m okay now, but last Monday night, 10/6/08, I had a moderate heart attack (a myocardial infarction for you medical junkies.) I spent three nights in the hospital, came home yesterday (Friday) and get to go back to work next Monday. So this is a praise report as well as a request for future prayer covering.

I’m okay, but I need to lose 80 to 100 lbs so I can avoid having another heart attack.

I also need to move to cheaper housing so I can quit my second job. I’ve been working two jobs for over a year, that’s why you guys haven’t heard much from me in 2008, other than the Flood coverage.

I’m really completely out of touch with the SG world right now. I’m trying to write songs and to record decent demos of the songs I already have in my back catalog, but dealing with my fiancee Cheryl’s cancer while I working myself into Heart Attack #2 hasn’t given me time to do much SG-wise, which completely and utterly frustrates me, but I need to live so I can be useful to the Kingdom in the future.

Yeasterday Afternoon I Was at our Church helping our Electriction With tsome wieing & we were in The Attack in our Foyer & i took one Step & Fell Throught the Ceiling up to my Hips, The bad about it is i Am a Diabetic & I am feeling Lousy today So if you would pray for me I would appriciate it.
