Excellent choice! Both songs were very deserving of the award.

Not to belittle The Crabb Family, but once again the Dove Awards prove that they know diddly sqat about southern gospel. Hard to find a group better ttan the Crabbs, but, they are drifiting away from southern gospel.

Oh please, here we go again. It's not the Crabb Family drifting away from SG. It's SG drifting away from everything else.

Boilermaker, I think that if you compare the Dove Awards with our SGN Awards, you will see that the general population has a much better grasp of what Southern Gospel Music is today than the some in the industry. It is nice to know that the Crabb Family is in good company, because in the 1940s, the people in the industry were saying that the beloved Statesmen Quartet were "drifting" away from Gospel Music. Of course don't forget that people voting for our SGN Awards and the Dove Awards are on the younger side of the genre, which happens to be where the future of SG lies.
