The Bill Monroe Memorial Music Park will host a festive Independence Day Crabb Jam beginning at 5 pm. The evening will feature performances by the Crabb Family, the McRaes, Crossway, and special guest Mike Bowling. The artists will join their hearts and their music to let freedom ring in Bean Blossom, Indiana. Completing the event will be a special fireworks celebration. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a night of music, worship, food, fireworks and much more.

Just a few days later music will fill the air in Owensboro, Kentucky as more than 20 performers and an estimated 10,000 gospel music lovers make their way to the fifth annual Kentucky CrabbFest. Nightly concerts will feature CrabbFest favorites such as the Crabb Family, Mike Bowling, the Dove Brothers, Michael English, the Gospel Enforcers, Aaron Wilburn, the Hoskins Family, Karen Peck & New River, Gold City, the Isaacs, the Hoppers, the McRaes, and more. CrabbFest will also welcome first-timers Crossway, Paid In Full, the Jody Brown Indian Family, Lynda Randle, Russ Taff, and Avalon. Nightly concerts begin at 7 pm Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and 6 pm on Saturday. Mornings begin with worship services and afternoons are filled with Showcases, a Talent Contest and much more.

Why in the world is the Crabb Family appearing at Bill Monroe Music Park? They arent even close to bluegrass.

They have a project called "crabbgrass" which is a bluegrass project. The crabb family does a variety of genres.

What does not being bluegrass have to do with it? Can't bluegrass fans like other types of music? This is hilarious.
