Danny Funderburk Recovers From Surgery

Add this entry to Your Favorites | [0] Favorites [14] Comments

Danny Funderburk underwent surgery to unblock his left carotid artery last Monday, Oct 17. The artery was 95-99% blocked. The surgery was performed at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, and Danny is home recuperating. He's doing well, but would appreciate all prayers sent on his behalf. He will not be able to fulfill any singing engagements for the next few weeks.

Having known Danny since 1983, we certainly send our love and prayers his way. He is truly a wonderful individual who loves the Lord and has never forgotten people through the years ~ no matter what noteriety he may have achieved. We pray he'll be back to health and back on the road very soon!

I pray you get back on your feet again soon. It was a pleasure to see you sing at Mackinaw, IL this year in August, and then to have breakfast with you the next morning. Meeting you and Mercy's Way was a great treat.

I just read about your heart surgery. I just wanted you to know that Heather, Bradley and I are praying for you from here in Toledo. I hope and pray that you make a full recovery because Bradley sure misses his "buddy." Jerry and Mark Trammell were at our church (Heritage Baptist) last week doing a revival but I have to tell you, Bradley kept asking for you because to him you and Jerry go together.

We love you here at Heritage and pray for a quick recovery for you.

Mary, Heather and Bradley
