Lee Domann, award-winning songwriter and storyteller, will have triple bypass surgery on January 24.. His music has been recorded by a variety of artists including Kathy Mattea, Jake Hess, The Gold City Quartet, The Peasall Sisters, Karen Peck, The Bishops, and Riders In the Sky. His songs have received extensive airplay and have appeared on the charts of Billboard Magazine.

This song, "Howard Gray," a true story about "the kid nobody liked" in school, has been widely used at many church camps, educational workshops, and concerts by other musicians. Lee was invited to sing it at Bill and Gloria Gaither's 2001 Praise Gathering in Indianapolis, Indiana. The song also appears on The Bishops' album, Kentucky Bluegrass, which received a Dove Award from the Gospel Music Association.

"Death Ain't No Big Deal" was sung by recording artist Jake Hess (Elvis Presley's favorite singer) at Tammy Wynette's funeral, in accordance with her request. And "Jesus Laughing" was recorded Mark Lowry.

Please remembe Lee in your prayers.
