Singing News Magazine to Sponsor SGMG Gospel Celebration

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--The Singing News Magazine was recently named as the platinum sponsor of the Southern Gospel Music Guild's Gospel Celebration, which will be held during GMA Music Week 2006. The Singing News Magazine and the SGMG joined forces in order to promote Southern Gospel music and its' artists during a week known for a more contemporary slant. Together they plan to present the best of the genre and expose individuals who attend to an amazing night of Gospel music.

"With its strong lyrics, captivating rhythms, memorable melodies, and wide diversity, Southern Gospel is able to appeal to every demographic of the church because it is able to appeal to the entire family," stated SGMG President Clarke Beasley.

Gospel Celebration will take place on Tuesday, April 4th at 7:00 pm (cst) in the Hilton Suites Downtown Ballroom located in Nashville, Tenn. An all star line-up is set to include Dove Award nominees the Crabb Family and Ernie Haase and Signature Sound, alongside of favorites the Kingdom Heirs, the Isaacs, the Booth Brothers, the Talley Trio, the Lesters and the Pfeifers. The night will also include several new artists including the Mike Bowling Group, Hope's Call, JBIF and Crystal River. Comedian Mark Lowry will host this exciting evening of music geared for the entire family. The SGMG's GMA Music Week 2006 Gospel Celebration is sponsored not only by the Singing News Magazine, but Aaron Crisler Designs, the Beckie Simmons Agency, Crossroads Music, Daywind Music Group, the Harper Agency, Song Garden Music Group and the Southern Gospel Music Guild were named gold sponsors of the event. The night is free and open to the public.
