Diamond Award Top 10 Ballot Now Available Online

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Allen Smith of SGN Scoops Magazine, home of the Diamond Awards, is proud to announce that the online ballots are now available for the awards program through the Diamond Awards home on the web. This new ballot is for the Top 10 nominees in each category.

The online ballot is designed for fans to vote their favorite artists for each award based on the Top 10 entries in each category. Visit the Diamond Awards website at http://diamondawardsonline.com.

The Diamond Awards are held every September during the week of the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Kentucky. This year’s Diamond Awards will take place on Friday, September 15th, 2006 in the Scot Room of the Executive Inn West at the entrance of the Kentucky Fair and Expo Center in Louisville, KY.

The 2006 Diamond Awards will again be hosted by popular Southern Gospel soloist Mark Bishop and Kyla Rowland, one of the industry’s most sought-after songwriters.

Lamp Music Group is the major sponsor for this year’s Diamond Awards. Co-Sponsors for the event include 770 AM Southern Gospel, Southern Spin Entertainment, and Southern Gospel soloist Quintin McGinnis.

About the Diamond Awards
The Diamond Awards were transferred over to the SGN Scoops Magazine three years ago after the original home for the awards, the Gospel Voice Magazine, folded. The Diamond Awards are a fan based award that allows the fans to choose the nominees as well as the winners each year. The awards show is based during the National Quartet Convention every September.
