(Goodlettsville, TN) - The Eddie Crook Company is making its first venture into non-music related products as it has secured the license for the "American Fighter" brand of t-shirts. American Fighter is one of the hottest t-shirt brands in America today as it is the official shirt of Rich Franklin. Mr. Franklin, a Christian, is the Middleweight Champion of the World for the Ultimate Fighting Championships as seen on Spike TV and pay per view around the world.

The ECC has licensed the American Fighter brand on an exclusive basis for the Christian marketplace. The Eddie Crook shirts will replicate the current design but will contain a Biblical scripture reference on the back of the shirts. Plans are under way for a series of five shirts. Shirts should be available for wholesale/retail by June 1st.

Dave Wilcox, Senior Vice President of The Eddie Crook Company states, “We are always looking for opportunities to expand our horizons and yet at the same time, further the cause of Christ. We believe this brand has the potential to be an awesome tool for witnessing!"

Uh......Ok. I can see that thousands will be saved because of this "great" witnessing tool.

"If I be lifted up (and your opponent has the snot kicked out of him) I will draw all men to me"

Something like that.

Fighting is a sport which I enjoy very much. I believe this is a great witnessing tool. Many other sports have Christian based organizations behind them why not boxing and fighting? Folks who don't see this are probably just closed minded and no doubt have a "holier than thou" atitude. Keep up the good work gentlemen.
