URGENT PRAYER REQUEST

Statement from Heather Day and Valerie Ellenburg of The Ruppes and Kim Lord of LordSong:

Yesterday, May 16, 2006, we found out that our dad, Leo Ruppe, has a malignancy in his mouth. He underwent the first round of tests including biopsy, CT scan, blood tests, etc. Now we are waiting for the pathology report and the scan reading. Test results will help determine the course of treatment and/or surgery. We are asking all of you to lift Dad up in prayer and for all of us to pray in one accord for his healing. Dad asks that we all claim Mark 11:24 on his behalf ("Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them").

His faith is strong, but your prayers and words of encouragement and faith will bless and strengthen him in his days ahead. We believe in miracles, and we are asking all of you to stand with us as we claim God's healing for our dad.

Leo & Brenda Ruppe started the ministry of The Ruppes 32 years ago (1974) with daughters Kim and Heather. Youngest daughter Valerie joined the Ruppes as a teenager. The Ruppes' ministry has blessed thousands over the years with songs like "Under His Wings" and "Angels In the Room." Leo has been The Ruppes' manager, bus driver, and sound man for the entire 32 years.

Dad's proclamation to the doctor is "By His stripes, I am healed!"

It's very timely that The Ruppes' newest radio released is a song called "The Healer" - which have lyrics that proclaim that very same scripture.
