SHERMAN, Texas – 2005 Diamond Award winning Duet of the Year Amazed is currently preparing for the release of the group’s sophomore effort for the Eddie Crook Company’s Morning Star Records.

Tentatively titled Just Gettin’ Started, the new album features tracks produced by Eddie Crook. Donna Beauvais (Hope’s Call) will be producing vocals for the new album. Vocals will be recorded at Square One Studios in Franklin, Tennessee and engineered by Steve Allen who has engineered projects by the Gaither Vocal Band, Vestal Goodman, Legacy Five, and many more.

“Words can not express just how excited we are for the release of this new project,” mentioned Cathie Marsh of Amazed. “Donna’s arrangements are just phenomenal, and we can’t wait for everyone to hear these new songs. We have some of the best songs in the whole wide world.”

Tamie Perkins of Amazed said, “Just Gettin’ Started really shows our hearts and what we have to say as artists and ministers of the Gospel. We just know that these songs will bless people’s hearts.”

Just Gettin’ Started features original songs penned by vocal producer Donna Beauvais, Rebecca J. Peck, Twila McBride-LaBar, Stephanie Brown, Sheri LaFontaine, Lori Kelly Woods, Sandy Knight, and many more. The album’s title cut, “I’m Just Gettin’ Started” was written by up and coming songwriters Jessica Harrison (of Hope’s Call) and Leah Lowrance.

Just Gettin’ Started has a tentative release date of late summer.

About Amazed
Amazed is based out of North Texas. The duo, consisting of Cathie Marsh and Tamie Perkins, was established in the year 2000 with a simple song, two willing souls, and a Mighty God who had a plan far greater than anyone imagined. A Taste of Heaven was the group’s first recording. On November 1, 2004, Amazed signed an exclusive recording contract with the Eddie Crook Company Morning Star Records. They began recording with ECC in January and look for hearts to be touched and lives to be changed as they continue to share the songs of truth in God’s Word to many audiences.
