This Fathers Day marked a special occasion for Naomi and the Segos as they performed at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains, Ga. Church home to President and Mrs. Jimmy Carter. President Carter has noted himself as a Sego Brothers and Naomi fan since the 1970's. He states, "What a great Fathers Day present to have one of my all-time favorite gospel groups worship with us at Maranatha." Naomi adds, "It was a joy for me, Kasey, and Caleb to be a part of this special service and to enjoy a great Sunday School lesson taught by our former U.S. President."

One enthusiastic attendee commented, "It's certainly a thrill for me to witness these two American icons (Pres. Carter & Naomi) together." Following the morning service the Carters and Naomi and the Segos paused for a special meet and greet with church members. Afterwards, The Segos and the Carters enjoyed a brief visit, where President Carter extended a personal invitation to the group for a return visit.
