NASHVILLE, TN – (Mon., June 26, 2006) - This week Dottie Rambo and her manager, Larry Ferguson, announced a new feature on Dottie’s website, http://www.dottierambo.net . In support of the upcoming hardbound book, Driving Ms. Dottie, authored by Larry Ferguson, a contest is being extended to whomever pre-orders the book before August 5th, the date of its national release. All pre-order customers will be automatically entered into a giant drawing, and one lucky winner, chosen randomly from pre-orders, will win an exquisitely crafted, autographed Dottie Rambo Kentuckian acoustic guitar.

Besides being entered into the drawing, all who pre-order the book about life on the road with the Queen of Gospel music will receive a free commemorative Driving Ms. Dottie key chain, featuring the book logo and the special photograph from the cover. The winner of the Kentuckian guitar will be chosen on August 4th, 2006.

The hardbound 144-page book, Driving Ms. Dottie, with its additional 16-page full color insert, is packed with hilarious and heart-touching road stories and photos from Larry and Dottie’s collection. There are special moments and amusing snapshots of Dottie on tour and relaxing at home. There are also stories that include some of Dottie and Larry’s dearest friends, including Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin, Tammy Faye, Stella Parton, Vince Gill, Amy Grant and others.

After reading a copy of the manuscript, Dolly Parton penned her own recommendation, saying: “I am very honored to be included in his book, Driving Ms. Dottie. (I, too, love Ms. Dottie!). Larry has done a wonderful job, and I'm sure you readers will enjoy it.”
