MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Sunday Edition, one of Nashville’s favorite groups, is currently being featured on SGMRadio.com’s Fast Five.

In addition, Sunday Edition recently reached a radio promotional agreement with Rhonda Thompson Promotions. Through the agreement, Rhonda Thompson Promotions will begin pushing the up-and-coming group’s newest radio single to Southern Gospel radio. Being shipped this month on Thompson’s first compilation disc to Southern Gospel radio, “Call On Jesus” will be the group’s debut single from their highly anticipated release Absolutely Free. “Call On Jesus” was written by Rebecca J. Peck.

Sunday Edition recently put the finishing touches on the group’s newest recording which was produced by Donna Beauvais (of Hope’s Call). Absolutely Free was mixed by Steve Allen and will be available by the end of July or early August.

The group’s last single, “He Keeps Lifting” (with special guest Johnny Minick), spent an impressive five consecutive months on the Singing News Top 80, which is virtually unheard of for new artists. The song peaked at #55 on the chart. A special bonus cut of “He Keeps Lifting” will be available on Absolutely Free.

About Sunday Edition
Sunday Edition was formed back in the early 70’s as an all-male quartet. Now, 30 years later, the group has reformed as the family trio consisting of Deon Unthank, Amy Marie Unthank, and Chris Unthank. The group has a rich sound with a wide variety of influences which range from traditional southern to country and progressive southern to black gospel.
