Whitesburg, Ga: At this point the entire world knows about the massive impact that Hurricane Katrina had on New Orleans and the entire Gulf Coast Region. Even though it's been a year since this tragedy, individual stories of courage and heroism are still surfacing from this awful event.

One such event involved Forrest County Mississippi's Sherrif Billy McGee. Who took matters into his own hands to bring life-saving ice trucks to his county while FEMA was struggling to get established only days after the hurricane.

This heart-touching story inspired Georgia songwriters Doug Vinson and Phil Coley to compose and perform the song "Haulin' Ice." Consequently the song was featured in a recent lengthy news stories. One story was featured on ABC World News Tonight" and the other on the 700 Club with Pat Robertson.

Both stories featured the song and played it during the telling of the news story. The song also went on to become a hit radio song on both religious and secular stations within the region.

West Georgia Digital of Whitesburg, GA was pleased to handle all of the initial production of the cd's and is currently supplying the current demand for this material.

this is news? That they did some duplication? Frankly I find this very tacky. They are exploiting those of us that are transplanted because of Katrina all becaus they pressed some CD's.

Katrina destroyed our life. I do not care frankly that you duplicated some CD's. You didn;t even sing the song.

I didn't see Ford or GM send press releases out saying they made the engines in the bs tht transported me out of New Orleans.
