HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn.— Hope’s Call, Daywind recording artist and sponsors for Compassion, recently took a mission trip to Bolivia. There they had the chance to meet their sponsored child Ana Maria, for the first time.

Donna Beauvais of Hope’s Call shares, “Before I left for Bolivia, I anticipated that this would be an amazing and eye opening trip. I never imagined the impact it would have on my life. To see twelve people living in one room on a dirt floor and still having such joy and gratefulness was a humbling experience. There are just no words to describe it.

“Our family got to meet the little girl we sponsor from La Pas, Bolivia. We spent the entire day with Ana Maria. It was one of the most precious days of my life. I will never forget the love in her eyes as she looked up into mine. I feel I have been given such a privilege to hold Ana Maria in my arms and to see first hand what an impact Compassion has on the lives of children and their families.”

Joining Hope’s Call on the mission trip were Ed Leonard (President of Daywind Records), Claude and Connie Hopper (the Hoppers), Zane and Debbie King (Journey Records/Compassion), Angelina McKeithen, Aaron Shust and many others.

Compassion is a children’s ministry that helps release children from economic, social, spiritual and physical poverty. This enables them to become responsible adults.

Founded in 1952, by Rev. Everett Swanson, Compassion helps more than 770,000 children in more than 20 countries.
