
Arden, NC -- Multi-award winning songwriter and performer Jerry Salley has recently partnered with Crossroads Entertainment and Marketing. Considered one of Music Row’s most successful writers and named SESAC’s Country Music Songwriter of the Year for 2003, Salley has had over 300 songs recorded to date by the top artists in the industry including; Reba McEntire, Catherine Britt and Elton John, Brad Paisley, Loretta Lynn, Toby Keith, The Kingsmen, The Kingdom Heirs, Doyle Lawson, Del McCoury, Rhonda Vincent, Jake Hess, The Hoppers and many, many others. Salley is a 6 time nominee of the prestigious Dove award and received the award for Song of the Year in 1990 for His Strength is Perfect, co-written by Steven Curtis Chapman. Salley has also received two awards from the International Bluegrass Music Association for his contributions as a recording artist on recent Bluegrass projects and has songs on 5 of the top 15 albums on the current Bluegrass Unlimited radio chart.
As an artist, Jerry has performed on numerous stage shows, including the Grand Ole Opry. His television appearances include Late Night With David Letterman, Regis and Kathy Lee, NBC’s Today Show and several different TNN programs.
Crossroads plans to release the first of Salley’s solo projects titled New Songs, Old Friends in January 2007
