NASHVILLE – Gospel music’s legendary singer and songwriter Dottie Rambo is packing up her boots, spurs and cowgirl hat. She will point her tour bus westward this weekend for her final concert appearances of the year. On Saturday, Nov. 18th, she will perform in Fort Worth, TX, and on Sunday, Nov. 19th, she’ll sing in Ada, OK.
“The 2006 tour has been especially rewarding for us both, and audiences across the country have been so receptive to Dottie and her ministry. It's sad to see the tour come to an end,” Manager Larry Ferguson said this week. “Nevertheless, Dottie has several wonderful surprises on track for the 2007 Dottie Rambo Tour, which kicks off on Jan. 12th, in Mobile, AL. The year will stay busy for Dottie, especially since we both feel a renewed sense of urgency in sharing the Gospel message, in song, to all who will listen.”
Immediately after each concert over the weekend, Dottie and Larry will personally sign copies of Larry’s new book, Driving Ms. Dottie, On The Road With A Gospel Music Legend for friends and fans. In this hardbound volume, Larry shares inspiring and humorous stories from the road. Also, the new Dottie Rambo collector doll will be available, too.
After Sunday, Dottie will travel back home to Nashville to spend the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays at home with loved ones.
