ANCHORMEN CHANGES ANNOUNCED

BSA/Beckie Simmons Agency announces today personnel changes in the Anchormen Quartet of Goldsboro, NC effective immediately. The young men now involved are not new to the Southern Gospel arena and have been performing collectively as Chapter IV. They are lead singer Keith Casstevens, tenor vocalist Carl Rice, G.W. Southard, baritone and singing bass is John Hall.

Tim Bullins, owner of The Anchormen states “I am thrilled to be associated with such fine young men who are not only dedicated Christians, but also love to sing and minister. It’s not often you find your Christmas gift all wrapped up in one big package!” “I wish to thank Jason Funderburk and the rest of the guys for their service and dedication; also, for success in the new direction they are taking their ministry.” The Anchormen fans can expect the same quality, honoring their Southern Gospel heritage.

Beckie Simmons adds “I have been involved with the Anchormen Quartet for several years and believe in their ministry. I have personally worked with Tim Bullins as manager of The Anchormen for over twenty years and Tim’s dedication to this quartet never ceases to amaze me. Not only do they appeal to the older generation, but their music also has a youth appeal.” Beckie went on to say, “I am a firm believer that life is full of changes and with changes comes growth! Most of the time, changes are a blessing in disguise!”

A new Anchormen single “Reach Out To Jesus” written by Glen Bates and Marty Funderburk will be released to radio by February 1, 2007 on Resting Place Music, Volume 4. Also, a new Anchormen “Favorites” CD is slated for the end of January.

I am so excited about this new group!! Sometimes changes are the best thing that can happen to a group and I think that this is one of those times. Southern gospel is definitely a ministry and God will bless those that are in it for the right reason. I can hardly wait to hear you guys!!
