This Christmas will be extra special for Hope’s Call. The family is rejoicing because of an incredible miracle. Wednesday evening, Donna and Paul’s 16 year old son, Josh, (also Jessica’s brother, Eddie’s brother-in-law) was traveling home from a church youth activity. He took a back road home because he thought it would be safer than the construction laden freeway in the rain. He came upon what he thinks was a deer at a curve in the road. Donna Shares, “In his panic, he swerved, losing control of the vehicle. It flipped the Sport Trac on the passenger’s side then catapulted it into the air, flipping again and landing with the most impact on the driver’s side where Josh was seated (with a seat belt on thank GOD). The auto company and the hospital said Josh is an incredibly lucky guy. We say luck had nothing to do with it. They said they have seen vehicles much less damaged where no one survived. Josh has a concussion and some head abrasions and that is it! We are just so thankful. Many people don’t know Joshua’s story, but he is a survivor already having made it through a life threatening illness and several other things. I know GOD is preparing HIM for something really special! We just want to thank God and encourage everyone to rejoice in just having each other this Christmas! It is sure going to be a special one for us!”
