Nashville, TN - The Academy of Country Music recently announced that Gordon Mote has once again been nominated for Piano/Keyboard Player of the Year. This year’s nomination marks Mote’s fourth consecutive nomination from the Academy. The prestigious Awards will be presented in Las Vegas in May.

This nomination comes as Mote is in the midst of a very busy Spring schedule. In addition to being featured on more than 20 dates throughout April, May and June with the popular Gaither Vocal Band and Gaither Homecoming Tour, RSI recording artist, Gordon Mote will also be featured on a select number of solo dates, as he anxiously awaits the release of a brand new recording, which debuts in mid-May, titled Don’t Let Me Miss The Glory. On the new recording, Mote is joined by several talented recording artists and vocalists, including the Gaither Vocal Band, the Isaacs, Michael Sykes and fellow RSI recording artist, Charlotte Ritchie, as well as Grammy Award winning female vocalist, Alison Krauss.

In fact, Mote and Krauss are teaming up for quite a few events this Spring. This week Mote travels to New York City to join Krauss on the popular Imus In The Morning program on Tuesday, April 3. The nationally syndicated radio program also airs on MSNBC each weekday. Mote will join Krauss on four songs, with the first song scheduled to take place just after 7:30am (Eastern time).

Following their performance in New York, Mote will join Krauss in Nashville on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday, April 7. The Grand Ole Opry airs on the Great American Country Network. Visit http://www.opry.com for additional information.
