Songwriter, Dr Steve Hurte's wife, Carol, went to be with the Lord last night, June 29, 2007. After a simple cough was thought to be pneumonia, Carol has been diagnosed with Lymphoma, concentrated in her lungs.

Featured on the Gospel Greats, Dr. Hurte is accredited for songs charted by industry leaders such as, The Perrys, The Ruppe’s, The Marksmen, Crossway, Ivan Parker, The Whisnants, Melody Boys Qt, and many others.

Services will be Monday night 6-8pm. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11am. More information can be found at http://www.victorybc.com
