MADISON, NC - On this Saturday evening, Nov. 24th, the Hoppers kickoff their annual Christmas concert schedule, entitled, Celebration 50-Christmas Tour, at the Hopper 50th Anniversary Celebration, being held in Eden, NC. According to Dennis Sparks, booking manager for the Hoppers, the group will embark on a heavy ten state whirlwind tour. "The Hopper family looks forward to taking a dynamic, powerful Christmas musical message of hope to concert goers and Gospel music fans across the country," Sparks added. "Then, after a short break for the holidays, the 2008 Hopper 50-Year Celebration Tour begins at Forward Baptist Church, in Ontario, Canada, on New Year's Day."

America's Favorite Family of Gospel Music continues to set new career benchmarks, break attendance records and produce relevant, powerful new music that inspires listeners around the world. "We can't wait to sing all our favorite Christmas carols and songs; and for the 2008 tour schedule, we have an expanded list of concert dates for we realize, perhaps more than ever, the importance of sharing the life-changing message of Christ in song while we have the opportunity," said Claude Hopper, founder and manager of the Hoppers. "We've never been more energized in purpose and commitment than we are right now."

In recent years, the Hoppers have been anchors on the popular Bill Gaither Homecoming Video & Concert Series, touring throughout the United States, Canada, England and Europe, South Africa and Israel. It was during one such trip to the Holy Lands that the Hoppers had the life-changing opportunity to perform their hit, Jerusalem, at the historic David Citadel and Tower inside the ancient walls of the Old City of Jerusalem.
