HOMEWOOD, Ill. – Morning Star Records recording artist Rod Burton is the featured artist this week on Solid Gospel Network’s new program – “Make It Or Break It”.

“Make It Or Break It” is the interactive program where listeners of Solid Gospel get to decide what songs they want played on the popular radio network. The show is hosted by Johnathan Bond of Young Harmony and allows listeners to hear the artist for a week before deciding whether they want to allow the song into current rotation.

Rod Burton said, “The ‘Make It Or Break It’ segment is an outstanding opportunity for an artist to get their music and message out to a terrific audience. The Solid Gospel Network is a great showcase, and it's an honor to be featured on these stations. It was also great to work with Johnathan on this effort.”

Rod’s current single, “He Made Something Out of Me,” is the featured song this week.

Rod continued, “‘He Made Something Out of Me’ is a fantastic song with a great message. Knowing that God will take what you bring Him and use it to make you everything He wants you to be is one of the greatest gifts He gives us. I'm so thankful that He didn't make me wait until I was perfect to use me for His glory.”

“He Made Something Out of Me” can be found on Rod’s debut Morning Star Records release, By His Grace. That album released earlier this year.

Rob also recently received two nominations in the Eddie Crook Company’s inaugural Eddie Awards. Rod received nominations in the categories of Newcomer of the Year and Male Soloist of the Year.

This year’s ceremony will be held on Thursday, November 29,2007 in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee as part of the Christmas in the Smokies annual event. The program will be produced by the creative staff of the Eddie Crook Company, under the leadership of Dave Wilcox, Senior Vice President. All award winners are voted upon by the Eddie Crook Company roster of artists.
