SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Popular Southern Gospel trio Eighth Day recently appeared on WGGS-TV’s NiteLine.

Eighth Day was the featured performer for the evening of Thursday, December 13, 2007. The group performed many songs for the show’s live taping on a beautiful Christmas and holiday themed set.

Scott Robinson of Eighth Day said, “We had a great time filming this show. WGGS-TV’s staff was a real delight to work with.”

The program was hosted by Greta Campbell and Lynn Edwards.

WGGS-TV is owned and operated by Dove Broadcasting and is based out of Taylors, South Carolina. Dove Broadcasting is more than a television station - it is a ministry that is dedicated to their community. Owners Jimmy and Joanne Thompson feel that Christian-family television is the "Great Alternative."

Niteline is Dove Broadcasting's special primetime program, produced weeknights locally. The two-hour Christian variety production features Gospel music, Biblical teaching, practical helps for Christians, and prayer and counseling by trained phone workers.
